Greenbear The Den Remembers and says Thank You "Donald Richard Light"

Donald Richard Light was born on October 19th, 1930, in Roanoke IN to Raymond Dominick and Anna Lucille Marie Kline. He was one of three children born to this union.  Donald joined the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War in 1951. He served as a private with the 3rd Battalion of the 7th Marine Regiment.  While serving in the Marine Corps, Donald earned several medals.  He earned the Korean Service medal, The United Nations Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and even a Purple Heart. In 1953, Donald was discharged from the military.  He went on to live in Huntington county for the remainder of his life. Donald was 90 years old when he died on April 14th, 2021, in Allen County.  He is buried at the Mount Calvary cemetery in Huntington.
