Norwell Boys/Girls Wins Wells Co Track Meet

Both Guys & Girls Bluffton Tigers Track & Field Teams placed 2nd in the Annual Wells County Track Meet - falling short to Norwell.

For the guys, they lost to Norwell by a score of 86.5 to 60, while also beating SW on the night too. Top finishers for the guys were:

• Tyler Godwin winning the 800 in 2:09.5 and the mile in 4:51.8

• Sam Baumgartner and Levi Johns going 1-2 in the 2 mile with times of 11:06.1 and 11:07.1 respectively

• Drew Hunt getting 2nd in both the 110 and 300 hurdles with times of 16.8 and 42.7

• The 4x1 relay team of Anthony Cruz, Ben Ramseyer, Khamel Moore, and Austin Geimer in 2nd

• The 4x4 relay team of Andrew Hunt, Kameron Holloway, Tyler Godwin, and Jude Baumgartner in 2nd

• The 4x8 relay team of Levi Johns, Sam and Jude Baumgartner, and Tyler Godwin in 1st

• Johnny Cruz winning the shot put with a put of 49ft 1in

For the girls, they lost to Norwell by a score of 86 to 55, while also beating SW on the night too. Top finishers for the girls were:

• Ava Troxel winning the long jump with a jump of 15ft 6.5in

  • She also got 2nd in the 100 and 200 in times of 13.2 and 27.8 respectively

• Lauren Reiff winning both the shot put and discus with throws of 33'8.5 in shot and 129'3.5 in discus

• Corina Rader took home 2nd in both shot put and discus, throwing 28'5 in shot put and 82'3.5 in discus
