Huntington  University junior Konner Platt was named the Player of the Week for the week of December 24 as announced by the Crossroads League national office earlier today. 

Platt helped guide the Foresters to a pair of wins last week including a 93-80 upset over #16 IU East. The 6-2 guard had a team-leading 21 points to go along with five rebounds and just as many assists against the Red Wolves.  

Two days later, Platt poured in 22 points in a 100-57 W over Ohio University Chillicothe. He also ripped down six rebounds and handed out four dimes in the lopsided affair. 

Platt was perfect on the week at the line where he went 8-for-8. The sharpshooter also had a solid performance from the floor by going 14-for-22 to sizzle the nets at a clip of 63.6 percent.

The Foresters are currently 11-5 on the year. They are back in action on December 29 at Saint Xavier.
